Eagle Ray
MYLIOBATIS AQUILA
These usually swim near the sandy bottom where they capture their prey (crustaceans, molluscs). Their tail has a poisonous sting. When it comes to reproduction, they are ovoviviparous: after six to eight months of gestation, between three and seven young are born.
