Octopus

This cephalopod mollusc is also called ‘poulpe’ [octopus] on the shores of the Mediterranean. It likes the rocky environments where it finds its food (crabs, lobsters). Contrary to certain myths, octopuses do not represent a danger to humans. Their lifespan is only two to three years because they die after reproducing.
